Example:
Chateau XYZ wants to create a four bottle tasting pack of their new releases. XYZ sends Crushpad one case (750ml) of each wine. Crushpad will create approximately 168 Tiny Bottles of each wine (14 × 12). Chateau XYZ would pay $800 for COLAs and labels, $1344 for rebottling (168 x 4 wines x $2.00) and $336 for boxes (168 x $2.00)
Selling on Brixr
Every product sold on Brixr, including tasting packs and full-size bottles, is subject to a fee for listing on Brixr and a transaction fee. On average, you should expect to pay around 10%. This is applied to the net total, exclusive of tax, discounts and shipping. Brixr will pay participating wineries the total amount less this transaction fee within 7 days of the end of each month.
In addition, all participating wineries agree to the Brixr shipping terms. In order to increase incremental online wine sales it is important to offer compelling shipping options to the consumer. The shipping terms on Brixr are a flat $10 for up to 3 bottles and free shipping on 4+ bottles. Shipping payments will also be made to wineries according to this schedule in the appropriate proportion to the order.

Example 1:
John Smith orders a tasting pack of Chateau XYZ new releases for $20. Brixr sends Chateau XYZ $18 ($20 – 10% transaction fee) After participating in the online tasting, John decides to buy two bottles of Chateau XYZ Syrah on Brixr.com at $40/ea. Brixr charges John $90 ($40 × 2 plus $10 shipping) and sends Chateau XYZ the order details. Chateau XYZ fulfills the order. Brixr sends Chateau XYZ $82 ($80 – 10% transaction fee + $10 shipping supplement)
Example 2:
John Smith buys a mixed winery tasting pack with four different wines, from four different wineries, for $20. Brixr takes a 10% transaction fee + $2 for the box. This results in $16 remaining. Brixr sends each winery their portion of the proceeds or $4.
John then decides to buy one full size bottle from each winery featured in the tasting pack. All of the wines in this pack are $50/bottle. Brixr collects $200 from John and applies his free shipping. Brixr provides the relevant order info to the wineries and each winery then fulfills their one bottle order directly to John. Brixr pays each winery $45. ($50 – 10% Brixr fee, but no shipping supplement.)
